EACH QUARTER, GREENTRIPPER SUPPORTS ONE TYPE OF CLIMATE PROJECT.
TILL END NOVEMBER IT IS THE SEASON OF WATER
Act Global
Greentripper supports certified climate projects in developing countries that meet the highest international standards such as Gold Standard or VCS. These projects are selected/developed by our sister company and partner CO2logic and Southpole.
Projects are reviewed annually to ensure their positive impact on the climate. Within this certified system, carbon credits are issued per tonne of CO
2 actually reduced or avoided.
These projects are developed in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) of the United Nations. This means that your CO
2-compensation, will bring environmental socio-cultural and economic co-benefits.
Forestry projects
The Agroforestry Projects promote and implement a package of sustainable agricultural land management (SALM) practices within smallholder farming systems. These practices are more resilient against climate change, result in a higher crop yield and more importantly, they keep the soil healthy. This protects the forest while planting more trees and it improves the livelihoods of farmers by giving a higher and more stable income.
The projects and its CO
2 reductions are registered and independently verified under the internationally recognised VCS label .

Water projects
In many developing countries we still have to collect water from polluted sources. In order to make it safe for consumption, it has to be boiled first. This process leads to deforestation as wood is the main fuel source in these countries. Furthermore, the process of burning wood is bad for the (indoor) air quality leading to many respiratory issues. The Water Projects give households access to clean water, protecting forests, improving health conditions and saving time and money.
The projects and its CO
2 reductions are registered and independently verified under the internationally recognised Gold Standard label.

Cookstove projects
Conventional cooking methods using solid fuels on open fires or rudimentary cookstoves are inefficient, unhealthy, and unsafe. Their negative impacts range from the extensive time and costs required for wood/charcoal collection to the negative impact on public health and the environment.
The Cookstove Projects support and distribute efficient cookstoves in order to save millions of trees, support families, boost economic activities and improve health conditions.
The projects and its CO
2 reductions are registered and independently verified under the internationally recognised Gold Standard label.

Wind projects
The power grid in many developing countries are damagingly reliant on fossil fuel based power plants. These countries are high on coal dependency, emitting huge amounts of CO2. As a consequence, the energy sector contributes to pollution and poor air quality. The Wind Projects build wind turbines, providing the power grid with clean, renewable energy and stimulates the transition to a low carbon economy.

2 reductions are registered and independently verified under the internationally recognised VCS label.
