Every trip, leisure or business, can be a driver of positive change. Together with our partners, we co-create new ways of travelling and getting around, accelerating the shift towards responsible mobility and regenerative tourism.

B Corp certified
The B Corp Certification is awarded to for-profit companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and responsible governance. B Corps don’t aim to be the best in the world. They aim to be the best for the world.
B Corp companies are part of a global community of businesses committed to using their work as a force for good. They inspire and support each other in their shared mission, creating even greater collective impact.
What makes B Corp unique is that it doesn’t certify just a product or a service, but the entire company behind it: from its values and way of working, to its treatment of employees, its role in the community, and its impact on the planet.
The “B” in B Corp stands for “benefit”. Referring to the benefit created for people and the environment. It’s a certification that helps customers identify companies that walk the talk when it comes to sustainability.

That fits your needs
Sustainability shouldn’t be complicated. That’s why we’ve developed a range of easy-to-use tools all powered by the same intelligence, but tailored to different workflows, budgets, and integration needs. Whether you’re a traveller, a tour operator, a travel agency, or a business where travel plays a role: there’s a tool that fits your reality.
Greentripper conducts regular reviews of its emission factors (EF), ensuring that they are updated at least once a year to maintain the accuracy of their CO2e calculator and in line with the latest scientific findings for greenhouse gas estimation.
Greentripper relies primarily on two recognized methodologies:
The Bilan Carbone ® methodology of ADEME, the Environment and Energy Management Agency in France. This semi-public organization is recognized worldwide for their greenhouse gas emission calculation tool/method known by the name of Bilan Carbone ©. The ADEME is one of the pioneers for the calculation of greenhouse gases and the conversion into CO2-equivalent in accordance with the Global Warming Potential (GWP), i.e. the contribution to the greenhouse effect.

The carbon footprint assessments conducted with the Greentripper tool provide you with an overview of your impact on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in CO₂-equivalent (CO₂, but also other greenhouse gases such as CH4, N2O, or radiative forcing).
These results aim to offer a general understanding, recognizing that none of the existing methodologies can ensure absolute accuracy, allowing for a margin of uncertainty in the assessment.

Scientific Approach
Sustainability isn’t a one-time fix, it’s a journey. And we’re here to guide you step by step. Together, we set realistic goals, zoom in on your biggest impacts, reduce where possible, contribute where needed, and communicate your progress with clarity and pride. We help you focus on the right actions at the right time.
Greentripper’s consultants are certified through the BC Bilan Carbone® training program, confirming their expertise in CO₂e calculations and the development of effective reduction strategies.
With certificates
For every CO₂e contribution to a certified climate project, Greentripper provides a certificate guaranteeing that each tonne CO₂e financially supported corresponds to a carbon credit (a tonne of CO₂e avoided or captured) in the project. The certificats are audited annually by an independent third party, Forum Ethibel. While this is not mandatory in the voluntary carbon market, Greentripper offers this extra level of assurance to ensure transparency and reliability in your contributions.
Greentripper partners with climate projects that meet the highest international standards, such as the Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). These projects undergo annual evaluations to ensure their impact on climate change is effective. Carbon credits are issued through this certified system for every tonne of CO₂e that is avoided or captured. Once sold, these credits are retired in a registry to guarantee they are only sold once.
This rigorous process, known as carbon crediting, ensures that every tonne of CO₂e saved is booked, traceable, and verifiable. Independent auditors, such as DNV, TÜV, or SGS, verify the monitoring of these projects to confirm they comply with established standards, such as those set by the Gold Standard or the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
In addition to certified climate projects, Greentripper offers the opportunity to support trusted environmental initiatives. While these initiatives may not provide certified carbon credits, they play a vital role in addressing climate change by promoting diverse climate actions. Greentripper collaborates with reliable partners to ensure these initiatives contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable future.
To train and inspire
At Greentripper, we believe in the power of sharing inspiration. That’s why we offer impact pages: clear, visual overviews that proudly show the climate actions of our partners.
We also offer trainings and workshops to help you grow your knowledge and confidence around sustainability in travel.
Looking for something more hands-on? We also facilitate ‘La Fresque du Tourisme’, a collaborative workshop that brings climate challenges in tourism to life.
